THREE THUNDER BAY MEN FACE DRUG CHARGES BY NAPS PDF Print E-mail
(Thunder Bay) On April 23, 2010, a warrant was executed at a Thunder Bay residence and three men were arrested following an investigation by the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service (NAPS) Drug Enforcement Unit with the assistance of the NAPS Guns and Gangs Unit, the NAPS Canine Unit and also the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau.

Police seized approximately seven thousand sixty-five dollars ($7,065.00) in cash and a Thunder Bay street value of approximately five thousand eight hundred dollars ($5,800.00) worth of OxyCodone prescription drugs.

Facing charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) and the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) is sixty-one year old (61) Brian HOXELL, charged with Trafficking and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (CDSA). Fifty-two year old (52) Alfred LUOMA is charged with Possession (CDSA), Careless Storage of a Firearm (CCC), and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (CCC). Forty-eight year old (48) Gacci LAZLO is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (CDSA), and Breach of Undertaking (CCC). All three men are released from custody under conditions and a Promise to Appear for court in Thunder Bay on May 23, 2010.
