DRUG WARRANT EXECUTED IN CONSTANCE LAKE FIRST NATION PDF Print E-mail

(Calstock, ON) On Monday, December 19, 2016, a warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act was executed in the First Nation Territory of Constance Lake by the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) Drug Unit along with the assistance of the NAPS Constance Lake Detachment members and the NAPS Emergency Response Team.

As a result, police seized approximately 253 Methamphetamine tablets, 36 Hydromorphone pills, and six hundred eighty ($680.00) dollars in Canadian currency.

A sixty (60) year-old man and a forty-nine (49) year-old woman, both of Constance Lake First Nation, have each been charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

The man and woman were both released on conditions and will next appear in court in Hearst, Ontario on March 1, 2017.

Constance Lake First Nation is located approximately 290 km west of Timmins, Ontario.
