(Kashechewan, ON) On May 30, 2018, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) Kashechewan Detachment began an investigation with the assistance of the NAPS Drug Enforcement Unit under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

As a result of the investigation, police seized approximately four hundred-thirty (430) Methamphetamine pills, commonly known as Speed.

A twenty-six (26) year-old female was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Kashechewan First Nation is located approximately 500 km northwest of Timmins, Ontario.
