Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative and support services; ensuring the efficient daily operation of the In-Service Training Unit, while operating within standard operating policies, procedures, and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of office administration policies, procedures, practices to provide support to the ISTU;
• Knowledge of office equipment such as telephones, computers, projectors, photocopier, facsimile and scanner to copy material and transmit correspondence;
• Knowledge and skill in the use of personal computer operation, Microsoft Office products and word processing programs;
• Knowledge of Freedom of Information (FOI), Enterpol, NICHE, and CPIC, policies and procedures;
• Knowledge of terminology pertaining to police training;
• Knowledge of File Control Directory and retention schedules for effective records management;
• Superior oral and written communication skills, reasoning skills, and the ability to prioritize work;
• Post Secondary education in a related field;
• 3-5 years experience working in an Office environment.
